You mean by trading Bozak and Gunnarsson. Not sure what Dubinsky has to do with being able to sign Pietrangelo...

Initially, Bozak was going to Columbus in exchange for Dubinsky, but I figured they'd need the cap space as well. So, Bozak to Florida (since they need center depth) for a pick, & that pick w/ Gunnarsson to Columbus for Dubinsky & a pick.

They also have Noel Acciari as their current #2 center, per CapFriendly depth charts. They'll need to add there.

Maybe the 3rd is too rich, but they have an extra one. The pick is less important here than moving out Bozak.

I'm guessing you're not clear on how LTIR works, but acquiring Dubinsky doesn't help us in any way. It doesn't magically give us extra cap space.

You obviously don't know how LTIR work, You can't just magically use LTIR to sign Pietrangelo. Doesn't work that way.
