Description

Can the current roster even beat the Wings right now?
I'm saying in a regular 82 game season the current roster goes 18 - 60 - 4.
I mean I'm sure Guerin won't leave it this way, but man this is ugly at the moment.

Hoping for some positive news soon on this team.

The blueline will prevent them from reaching the lows of Detroit but I don’t see where enough offence will come from to be considered a bubble team. The staal trade leaves me thinking there is something fairly significant in the works for an upgrade at C. Who or what I have no idea tho.

Long-term, that might be the best idea possible! This makes it simple to protect 8 skaters...while also giving Guerin more time to figure out what to do with Dumba...especially with how confident I am he will become the Dumba of 2 and 3 years ago again. Next off season, we might very well be thankful Guerin didn’t trade Dumba for Monahan, Domi, Strome, etc..
