There a package you want for Rakell that includes Seguin?

I don't think Klingberg should be shopped at all, he's the team's best offensive d-man aside from Miro and in some ways better. Don't understand why everybody is putting Seguin on their trading blocks, he's their 1C and they will lose any trade involving him. I wouldn't be too shocked by Benn, but not for at least a couple of seasons. And Pavelski and Rads aren't going anywhere unless Seattle wants one, they have been offensive drivers and I expect they'll have much better regular seasons next year.

How about an offer sheet from Detroit on Faksa. 4 million x 7 years. How can you match?

I’m not shopping Klingberg because I don’t like his game. I think he’s as valuable a piece as any on the team.
He’s going to be a UFA here soon and he’s going to get paid. With Miro and the other young guys also needing money, an unknown future cap, and some heavy contracts, I think it may not hurt to see if you can make your team better.

Pavelski and Radulov may or may not have good seasons next year (much depends on who the coach will be) but the impact they have on the rest of the roster is too negative. Radulov is too slow and the penalty’s. Pavelski is too slow and too weak. We saw what happened when Gurianov Hintz and Kiviranta were put on the same line. Whenever we mix the old and slow with young and fast we get lines that have no identity whatsoever.

It is just a terribly constructed roster that ran into some good fortune. Either the front office recognizes that or the team (and younger players) won’t see full potential in Dallas.

He should get an AAV somewhere around there, so $ wouldn’t be an issue. 7 is a long time. Not sure if I’d go any more than 5. He played some of the toughest minutes in the league the past few seasons lining up against the opponents top lines night in and night out. He is a one of a kind, almost invaluable player IMO.
