I honestly believe that if the Oilers trade for OEL it won't look anything like what most people point out here. Arizona would be the one adding sweatners to get the Oilers to bite and take on that horrible contract. Right now OEL is a 6 -6.5 D. Maybe playing with McDavid and the PP he will return to his former self or even better then before but there is no way to know especially on the last half of that contract. Only thing is there are teams with cap and assess who CAN actually pay for him so there is no way he goes to EDM. Holland knows he can't take on that contract. He's definitely not moving the 14th over all for it when there is so much more he could get if he did trade it somewhere else. Plus, samurakovs value is increasing by the day by the way he's playing. Don't get me wrong, there is potential for OEL to be amazing in Oilers and there are "trade talks" but unless all other teams back out or find "their" guy else where and Arizona has no other choice but to trade him to the Oilers, he's not going to the Oilers, and if he does the Oilers will not be paying an arm and a leg for him.
