No, it is not, Buch is a good player, but Chytil is unproven as is Barron. For a proven asset like Kuz who has eclipsed the 70 point mark 3 times in his 5 year career (and was on pace for 68 points this season) you would need to give more than one good player, a decent young player, a late-ish first, and an okay prospect, especially for a team like the Caps who are in win now mode.

Chytil would have been a top 5 pick if he was a few days younger. He's much better than a "decent young player." Research is your friend bro.

Lol is that right, and you know this how? I live in the NY market and watch most Ranger games, he's a decent young player that could develop into a 2C, but outside of a hot start last season (8 goals in the first month, 6 the rest of the way- 15 points in the last 50 games of the season) he looked lost and under performed. Look at the stats. As you said, "research is your friend bro".

i really dont think its too much or too little...i dont see Buchy re-signing here with Kakko and Kratvsov most likely up next season in addition to signing Fast again who is an organizational favorite...another big key is to have another top center in case of Zibanejad testing free agency in 3 years...Caps are also giving Ovechkin a new contract and it'll be huge! Gives the Caps 2 promising centers plus a top 25 pick...think it makes sense on both sides
