Coyotes reject , OEL at just 4M for Edmonton would be the best contract pay in the NHL and i know Broberg is in the deal but yotes would definitely want more if their retaining 4M for the next 7 years

I’m mostly going on the fact Arizona is desperate to shed money, they retain cap but are out of having to pay any real dollars but yeah for sure it’s a bargain and any other team could probably make a better package

If AZ is retaining 50%, they are retaining 50% of the AAV every year AND 50% of the real dollars every year.

It'd be idiotic. "They don't want to pay OEL $10M!". So they're going to pay him $5M to play in Edmonton? Lol

Things are believed to be intensifying in Arizona on the OEL front, however, unless something changes, the Oilers have been told they’re not on the short list of teams OEL will waive his trade protection to go to.

Oilers are not trading Philip, or Bouchard, or Nuse,
ARZ can keep OEL
