Josh Anderson to Bs

Created by: Shane_Kelly

Initial Creation Date: Oct. 1, 2020
Published: Oct. 1, 2020

Description
Biggest Question around this. Can Kase or Anderson play the off wing? Cause if Studs breaks into the Lineup, Where does he play? I also think that the third line becomes the second line.

He is in contention to make the team this year. He has a lot of grit to his game. Kinda like an Andrew shaw from a few years ago type or a less skilled Marchand.

Anderson would look good with Coyle I think. If he’s healthy. Still need a 2RW though. I don’t think Kase will do it.

He was really good in the SHL in his 20 year old year. He was ok in Providence last year, it took him some time to adjust to the smaller ice. Should be a bottom 6 agitator/penalty killer. Plays with a lot of pace, could be a middle six player, but hes versatile, can play wing or center. Reminds me a little of Yanni Gourde. I think he'll have a bounce back year in Providence, and be a call up contender if there are injuries/forces his way there.

Studnicka may play RW this season coming up but he will eventually play center. It will cost more for Anderson. Apparently Sweeney was in on JA last winter.

He definitely was in on him, and I read something that it may be a third-rounder and a mid-tier prospect, so just going off of that. In the description, I talk about Anderson or kase playing he off wing if studs break in.

I'm definitely in for Josh Anderson. Only thing that would be a downer about this is that he would essentially take away Studnicka from making the lineup

As for everything else, I think that price is too much for Grzelcyk. Kuhlman will make more than Seny and Zboril (nitpicking it's whatever), everything else, this is a solid AGM.

I'm not sure if that trade goes through for Anderson tho. Anderson is a tricky player because he had a major down season due to an injury riddled year. No one really knows where his value stands. Just a couple years ago he's a player that everyone would love on their team, can play fourth line or even second line. Great utility player. Steen is an interesting prospect we have, I just don't know if he's enough to entice Columbus. They have undersized, gritty right shot wingers in Bemstrom, Fix Wolansky on top of undersized Cam Atkinson.

I would be 100% for a Senyshyn for Anderson type deal. He can end up being a bottom 6 north south player for Columbus and I really do think Senyshyn can fit the CBJ system.
