Theyre looking for a 1st, good d prospect and then some. Also think the most theyd retain is like 1.25 mill

Sounds like they are set on moving him though . OEL is due 10.5 mill next season.

That is insane if they get that much for him. OEL is overpaid and on the decline

His skills are not on the decline , his 5 on 5 stats were good last season while his power play production fell of a cliff and for some reason he was very good on the road and very poor at home if he gets traded to Boston or Vancouver he is going to have a offensive resurgence

His PP numbers are still good, it’s his 5v5 underlying numbers that are declining

He had 1 power play point at home the entire damn season and only 7 power play point overall

The underlying numbers say he was in the 89th percentile. That’s really good

Hes played over 24 minutes a game with Jason Demers, Ilya Lybushkin and Goligoski the past 4 year against teams best players, I think if he gets to lets say Boston and plays with Mcavoy he'll look great. Still a tough looking contract in terms of length but when you see that Krugs probably getting 7+ and Pietrangelo is looking to get over 9, the AAV isnt terrible.
