The Tampa trade it's pretty good value but the Islander offer is missing a main piece.

Devon toews would provide more value to the Jets than Laine does right now. Isles decline.

Since he’s better than Laine, Cheveldayoff would be insane to decline this trade, but the isles wouldn’t do this anyways

nothing there anyway, we r stacked on left shot def, and if we have to trade Laine it'll be for team needs

Mediocre? He’s one of the best 5v5 defenseman in the league - he’s an elite driver of offense on a barry trotz team(his system stifles offense). He also has a borderline elite defensive impact (90th percentile xGA/60).

Maybe they will do a Boychuk for Laine 1 for 1 deal, that's probably fair value

Lol I personally don’t want Laine - I think the opportunity cost is too much and he’ll want a contract that he won’t live up to, which is one of the reasons why jets are looking to trade him.
