The trade is really Tanev for Kapanan and Dermot. I guess the Leafs would have to weight four years of Tanev for the potential of the two AHLers. Fleischmann? Gauthier has to play for the Marlies not be the fifth centre.

leafs1967. I would rather see Soshnivov, Johnson, Leiv0 (when healthy), Greening orHolland. Michalek has a NMC and I doubt he wants to spend his last NHL season with a lottery team besides Toronto.

I know nothing about the youngest Subban but I think Tanev would be a good acquisition if Leafs need to bolster Defense core. I hope Marincin can fill a top two role but if Leafs are struggling because of him, might be best to trade some prospects. I think that's pretty good value!
