Description

"As a matter of fact, our staff has communicated with Tuukka. As I said before, he remains a big part of our roster planning going forward. He was second in the Vezina balloting, and we feel very, very comfortable [with] where our goaltending is at," Sweeney said today.

"We have to be on the same page moving forward," he said, adding that Chara is "a very important part and leader on our hockey club."

The issues I have with this roster is our left side on D and getting another top 6 forward. That could both be worked out If we do sign Hall and then trade Jake for that top 4 LHD.

If Boston gets debrusk to buy in at 3.5 that’ll be real good for them but idk if they’d want 2 years and if he would want 3.5

What LD would you expect in a debrusk trade? Can't see him having enough value for a good LD without boston adding to the deal

The more rumors i see the B's in, and the more players theyre are "in" on, the more i think this will be our offseason. Sign our RFA's, sign Chara, keep rask, maybe sign a cheap UFA. Obviously could be wrong, but it always feels like theyre gonna make a big move, and they just stand pat for the most part.
