Seems like an overpay for Letang. Tuch 1 for 1 should be enough

I don't see Pittsburgh taking that trade. The value is fine, but they'd then have to find a way to replace their top dman with maybe 3-4 mil in cap space. It'd be asking an awful lot from Marino to be able to fill in that void in just his second season.

If we don’t get Petro, which by the counting hours seems less likely, there’s no point in doing this at all. Letang is good, but Petro doesn’t require assets.
