CH pushing for Hall yr2

Created by: NickDerose
Team: 2021-22 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 9, 2020
Published: Oct. 9, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
1) After the signature of Taylor Hall by Montreal, Nashville really needs to add offense in their line up, specifically on wings. A player like Tomas Tatar could fit in the 2nd line with Matt Duchene really well. Tatar could help Duchene to be back on track after an average first season. Tatar is free agent after this year, so it's a good guess for them to take if he does the job and maybe resign him before the end of the season.

2) I drop the contract of Byron to Ottawa. They have a lot of cap space and Ottawa needs also a role player like Byron who can always gives good return. I add obviously some pieces to Ottawa for help them to accept the deal. A young prospect B+ in Olofsson (2nd round pick in 2018) and a 3rd round pick. Looks like a fair offer to me if I'm Ottawa.

Considering this lineup, I would prefer keep Armia than Gallagher . Gallagher is wasted at that price on the 3rd. Armia would be cheaper for the role . And younger, bigger

I honestly have the same thinking of you, but I can't imagine that Montreal will let Gallagher going to free agency. Bergevin already said that he want to make him a Canadiens for life. But I consider too that it's a huge risk to resign Gally for a longterm deal at this AVV level.

      Exactly. I would also
Prefer to trade him at high price this summer , but I know Bergevin will give him an albatross of contract soon . I don’t mind trade him because he gets replaced by caufield in 1-2 years
