If I upgrade the 2nd to a first is that better? New Jersey is still rebuilding and has cap space according to cap friendly. Which signings are underpayment? I looked at previous cap hit and based all signings on similar point totals

Yeah I think that'll do it.

I'd say Debrusk and Kahun are the most underpaid. I'd expect Kahun to go close to $3M. He's better than Girgensons who got $2.2M from the same team. DeBrusk wouldn't be much in the trade rumors if his contract demands were that low...

Ya the kahun contract was iffy to me maybe if I changed it to a 2 million for 1 years as a kind of prove it deal then it would be better

Nah...no need for a prove it deal. Would've been in pace for 40+ point season during a normal length season.

A pretty good job just need to augment the Willbur return and avoid Kmiller with that $ going to Kahun

What about trading Coyle for [DToews/Ryan Graves] + non nhl assets to balance the roster. Free up cap space too. Chara at 43 I mean... solid at very best?

Kase a fine option at 2RW and the F depth is superb

Ya but that was one good season. Paying a player off of one season is not how you should gm

K Miller was confirmed signed today for 2 million, but I’d assume it was more of a respect thing and he’s just going to be on ltir and collect money. Coyle is our 2c once krejci retires in the next year, he’s signed to stay in boston
