If no one wants Fleury and Vegas is desperate enough... I dont think they want to pay their new back up behind Lehner 7 mil per. Plus they save on capspace in this trade.

Except this doesn’t really help Vegas at all. Instead of paying a backup 7m they pay a 3rd pairing guy 6.875M lol. That 125k cap space is really gonna help.

Idk how to work the retain stuff. I had Hawks retaining $2,500,000 of Seabrook and Retain $1,000,000 of Saad in the Avs deal

There's a "+" next to the players name when you add them to a trade. Click on it and add the retained amount of your choice.

Teams are only allowed to retain on three contracts at a time. Going to three in the offseason could make the trade deadline too difficult.

Seabrook and Boqvist for Fleury and Schmidt. No retention.
