Good deals but too cheap signings for BUF, unrealistic at this point.
Toffoli declined VAN at 5x5, and why would he choose BUF?

Who knows. Hutton was supposed to be a great goaltender for you guys and it ended up biting Buffalo in the ass.

Hutton was a one-season wonder. The rest of his career he's been an okay to middling 20-something games back-up.

Only reason it was good because had a really good defense in front of him.

Nah, he was actually good that year. Check his xGA-GA type stats. He was #1 in GA adjusted, and top 10 in total GSAA despite only playing 31 games. And first in quality start %, as well. It happens, some guy will have an outlier career year.

Goalies are always spotty. They have those insane years then fall off the cliff right after and never come back. It's very common.
