I'd rather offer sheet Sergachev. We don't really need Cirelli with Toews - Dach - Strome

I don't think they are. They haven't made any moves to indicate that. If they were rebuilding, they would have traded Saad for futures not for a 25 year old D.

Not bringing crow back indicated it. This team was last in the central last year with two of the best goalies in the league. Not to mention losing Caggiula, 4k, and the saad fleecing all showed we're taking a step back. This team is going no where with this goalie tandem. and the rest of the roster is still bad just like it was last year. Just no goalies to cover it up any more

I mean I honestly don't hate the Saad trade. Zadorov brings physicality and more defensive depth on the left side. It's nice to see a player in the lineup that can hold his own and defend the team because I feel like the Hawks get pushed around a lot. Was it less than I expected? Yeah but maybe it'll look good down the road. I don't think the Saad trade is going to effect the offense because our offense is solid.

I love Caggulia and especially Koekkoek, but come on. They are not relevant. especially Koekkoek who missed like the entire season and didn't become popular until he did well for a few games in the playoffs.

Crawford was disappointing but it doesn't really indicate that we are in rebuild. Yeah our goalie tandem looks inexperienced, but that could change tomorrow.

Let's not forget some exciting pieces ready to join potentially next year, including Mitchell, Beaudin, Suter, etc.

It's not about Saad or Koekkoek, or Caggiula. You're missing the point. The point is this team was last in the central even when they had stellar goaltending. Only made the playoffs because of covid, in a world with no pandemic the hawks pick 9th OA in the draft. There's no way in my mind that this team doesn't regress

So we still don’t win the cup, but add a Selke caliber 22 yo C for a second round pick.

I would have agreed with you 2 years ago but now we have a lot of young potential. The truth is the team is getting younger and younger. Dach, Strome, Debrincat, Kubalik, Nylander, Suter, Reichel, Boqvist, Mitchell, Beaudin, Kalynuk, Carlsson etc

We have a very good prospect pool and are still getting very good production from our star veterans. I don't think we should do a rebuild while we have Kane and Toews on the team.
