Description
Jack Johnson goes to Las Vegas in the Expansion draft

The Thorton signing just makes so much sense. The Jackets are desperate for a top line center. Thorton seems ageless and even though he is getting up in age, he could very well be the perfect role model for the maturation of our young centers. I could only imagine the knowledge Wennberg and Dubois could learn from Thorton. Plus, if the Jackets tank this year, Patrick Nolan could be in our future as well.

Gee, the Thornton signing makes no sense for Thornton or San Jose. Do you really think Thornton would sign a one year contract to play for the last place CBJ. Assuming they're last (as you indicating by the Patrick signing), rich Joe will sign elsewhere. And why, why would SJ give up two assets to acquire the high priced, long term, underachieving Dubinsky. Why would Rebuilding NJD (who are relatively strong at LW) acquire Hartnell.
Seems like wishful thinking that the CBJ can rid themselves of 15m in contracts.
