Seems like a logical place to put him? Either that or 4th line Left Side with Spezza and Barabanov?

He will fill a role for the leafs, and im not sure who will step up onto third line whether it be vesey/spezza/engvall but I see Simmonds on the 4th line. Especially with the leafs speed it will hurt Robertson development playing alongside Simmonds

I agree! while making these I always have Robertson and his development in the back of my mind and I believe Dubas and Keefe aren't going to jet him through the lineup yet. the left side may consist of Hyman, Mikhayev, Vesey, and maybe an unknown player that they haven't signed or traded for yet?

Dermott's not signing that deal. He's either getting traded for picks or if he signs he gets around $1.3-$1.5M and Sandin and Lehtonen start with the Marlies.

It's a good question but I don't think his speed will hurt the 3rd line as much as people think. Especially as long as the centre and other winger are fast. Spezza is slow as hell and his speed was never a problem. I think Barbarov is going to force his way higher up though. I also think one of Holl or Kerfoot will get moved for some extra space. The Blueline is actually filling up which is nice. Marincin may not actually play any games this year.

Lehtonen is 100% making the team and I'd wager he might push Holl down the lineup and force himself into the top 4. He's going to be way better than people think. Dermott and Holl on the 3rd pair and Sandin and Liljegren will definitely be on the Marlies to start the year.

There's no 100% about Lehtonen at all. He's coming from European ice to North American after he had 1 good season over seas. It takes time to adjust. No guarantees he makes it at all

That is not entirely true, there are several teams who play on small ice in his league. So he has played on the smaller ice. Zaitsev is at the very least a 3rd pairing NHL defenceman and Lehtonen is loads better. He's lighting it up in the KHL and I think he'll be very good for TO.

Also not one good season, he's been a top defender there for several and is the best defenceman there now. If he signed with any other team their fan bases would be saying he is top 4 for sure. In Montreal he may have been their best LHD. Hes going to be very good.
