Just curious because I like to look down the road for teams, where’s the money coming from next season to resign Laine, Svech and Dougie? Is Mrazek, Dzingle and the $5M in current cap space (about $11M) going to be enough? Does Gardiner have to be moved too?

double checking everything, next year without signing anyone, canes would have 30 million in cap space. trading away reimer for korpisalo saves about 600k. the nino cap dump saves 5.25 or less. laine trade actually saves 3.25 million. free agents would be hamilton, svech, laine, mrazek, dzingel, mcginn, martinook. with the *rough estimate* 39 million in cap. taking about 6 million to resign fleury and foegele now since they probably get bigger contracts leaves 33 million. svech gets 8-9, hamilton gets 8-9, laine gets 9-10. if they all get 9 thats 27 million which leaves about 6 million for other free agents or just cap space. i dont think martinook comes back or dzingel so with mcginn to sign and younger prospects you can call up id say yes.
