The trade would sorta destroys the point of bringing in Vesey since he should have some chemistry with Kerfoot from their Harvard days - or so everyone seems to be saying

As much as I would love to see Jumbo win a cup in TO, I just don't think his speed will work down the middle of the ice in TO. He'd be a guy who would need another guy playing centre while he takes draws. Like how Spezza did last year.

He has to go to be cap compliant. Its the only real option

I am not sleeping on him. I just think that would be a deadly line and the other lines are set up pretty good.

Simmonds doesn't have speed though. Barbarov is definitely ahead of Vesey as well. I think Spezza and Simmonds will alternate between 3rd line minutes.

I guess we dump Engvall and call up Barbarov. Maybe send Engval back to the minors to work on his 2 way game as a center

As you can see, he is already off this team. So yes, he will be gone, but Engval will probably also be moved or demoted
