Chris Johnston believes their is mutual interest between Leafs and Thornton. Robertson to potentially start in AHL. Dubas spoke highly of Dermott recently particularly having him play his offside leaving Holl the odd man out.

Robertson can't start in the AHL. He goes to Junior which may not even exist or he goes to Europe or he is on the NHL team.

This looks legit... i think we might see Robertson in the AHL to start. If they dont plan on him being top 6 at least.

Chris Johnston said there is a possibility some OHL players could potentially start in the AHL.

Until that is a thing, it simply isn't a thing.

This is no different than everyone assuming that there would be a compliance buy out for every team in the league when the news broke about the cap staying flat for several years.

No way I'm making any decisions on my team moving forward being speculative about what may or may not happen.

I'm not adamant about Robertson being in the lineup. I think that he should play in Europe TBH.

The way I see it, he's either a top six forward, or not on the team.
