I'm not sure you get dermott or mikheyev for those numbers, I would expect both to get at least 500k more, and most likely I think more like dermott at 1.5 and mikheyev at 2.25, but then you're over the cap, even with dealing Holl and his NTC, which will limit the return in trade to probably a lower 3rd.

I like the lines, but think you're going to have to move one more contract than holl.

Maybe Kerfoot for Laughton kind of thing, (saves 1.3 mil). Laughton plays C or LW, still youngish plays a feisty 2 way game

you won't get a 3rd for holl. prolly a fourth at best, if they're a team who really, really needs a player like him. would recommend changing that before all the crazy fans come in and yell at you

love the lineup. personally I don't feel like Dubas has to do anything big anymore; this team is good. only thing you're missing is barabanov. have a feeling engvall gets traded for a 5th, then the pull up barabanov to play on the 4th line with spezza. vesey and simmonds can flop btwn 3rd and 4th imo. anderson and boyd are good as 13/14 forwards, and that bottom pair of 3 is perfect. if u trade engvall you have enough space to call up barabanov and boyd.

lastly, James Mirtle from the Athletic suggested teams could be allowed to take a taxi squad that takes them up to 3.5M over the cap. Not sure if that's true, but if it is, we could simply add boyd, barabanov, and even liljegren to this lineup, and rotate them all. engvall, anderson, boyd, and barabanov could rotate, and sandin, bogo, lehtonen, and lils could.
