I'd rather try to sign a winger with possibility to play second line, and move Donato to 3C

Soderberg and Hainsey fill the needs you stated. If they can get Thornton, they should sign him for 4C also.

This looks like a bubble team to me. Unless they really find their game again.

Not bad and I find this as realistic as it gets. I don't think DW does anything drastic this offseason, hope I'm wrong.

Donato has played wing most of his career, it would be unwise to change that now

A big year from a healthy Karlsson and Hertl will be a major boost. I’m not concerned about Meier, Kane or Couture.

It all comes down to which Jones and Dubnyk we will get.
