Gosh I mean 3 good players out for a year of Zach Hyman who is overrated (playing all minutes beside Toronto's big 4) why not just sign Leivo at ~2M$

I'm curious, is this trade more about dumping Hagelin & Eller or acquiring Hyman? Seems unlikely that the Caps would move on from Eller at this point. No other two-way centers for the bottom six anywhere in the system. He is cost-controlled on a team friendly contract. Just wouldn't make sense right now.
