Fitting in the final few pieces

Created by: BigBadBurke

Description
UFAs; Wonder how much Brassard has left in the tank... the other 3 are in their mid-20s and were once 1st round picks with promise. Who knows, maybe they show smtg with the habs, maybe not. Cheap deals for guys that may realize their potential so no big risk there as fillers/healthy scratches in case of injuries.

Yeah he was, as I believe there was a "handshake deal" at the last deadline. And then he scored 1point in the playoffs for a washington offence needing goals so I guess Berg backed out on that! haha

If the competition is Weal, Frost is ready. We can also use Laughton at 3C if all **** hits the fan and have a few guys in the AHL that can fill in at 4C. Fletcher sent Weal out because he didn't provide value to the club. There's no way he's giving up an asset to get him back.

Would hardly call a 6th rounder an "asset", but ya i agree Frost is probably ready to provide more than Weal cld.

I’m not calling a future 6th round pick a quality piece or a high-value asset, but I am saying we’ve been down that road before and wouldn’t give a 6th round pick for Weal given his history with the club (liked him as a player, but didn’t work out) and organizational depth.
