Whats the most expensive/ rare positions in the NHL? is it top 6 winger?....no ?how about top 4 RHD or top 6 center .... yeah? So if Nylander was a top 4 center than he would have the same value as a top pairing RHD.. Pesce is also on a extremely fair deal.

lmfao what make no sense is your inability to understand top 6 winger vs top 4 RHD. an intelligent person understands that Panarin is a #1 RW. so to generalize him as a top 6 is moronic. your example lacks logic or any type of rational thinking lmfao. Lets say who has more value Panarin or Pietrangelo? now thats an intelligent example a true #1 winger vs a true #1 RHD. Please if you are going to make an argument use common sense.

I get your point but Nylander would demand more than Pesce 1 for 1.

you more than likely could get him for a 5th. Tampa is hurting for cap space and hes a 4th line center.

Possible. If Nylander puts together another season like he did this year i could get on board with that logic but ATM its undecided. I can see both sides of the argument and why they make sense for both sides .

Lol, as u can see that was sarcasm. I'm still very confused as to how positions affect value all of a sudden.

It’s not a hard concept. Think about what position produces the fewest elite talent. That causes a demand for the limited supply. Top talent centers and RHD seem to be the position that have a scarce amount of high end talent. Nylander had a really good season and if he can continue to produce at that rate I could see him becoming a #1RW putting his value in a higher class than just a standard top 6 winger. His prior year is the big hang up for me.

Even that's a little much. I agree with him below.
