The picks are great and all, but the Jets are in “win now” mode. I think they’d rather have a better C, someone who can replace Stastny at 2C next year or even this year, and a more solid top 4 D.

I do think a Gusev/Laine pairing would be pretty sweet though

Yea its tough because we don't have very many WIN now pieces. Zajac NTC but he might go home to try and win one. You could swap Boqvist with Zajac.

There is nothing in that offer that the Jets need or would want for Laine, other than the 1st.
