His stats this year and last aren't bad, Palhal. Worst case Ontario he has a bad attitude while simultaneously not producing and gets shipped out for a late pick.

Galchenyuk is uber talented but Gaudreau is elite. Gaudreau deserves to make more than Galchenyuk in every way.

No i don't think so. Look at Patrick Kane's second contract. 6.5M. I think Gaudreau got just about right considering the inflation. They both put up similar numbers and are eerily similar in hockey style.
