According to Elliot Friedman, Dubas was offered Weegar for Dermott+Johnsson but Dubas said no likely because he doesn't want to move Dermott. For this reason I don't think he is going to simply move Dermott for picks.

canucks dont need another middle six player we have several, better options in our own system. in my opinion plus we dont have cap space either.
