Ottawa doesn’t want Eriksson even with a 1st. He’s overpaid and lazy, a bad combination.

Hoffman isn't taking only a one year deal at $5 mil per, For one year he'll want between $6 mil-$7 mil noway he's taking $5 mil for one year.

Hoffman won’t come to Vancouver no matter how much money you through at him.
      Think Barrie.

Barrie never came to Van because we have Hughes. He would not get the ice time on the power play. Money was secondary. Hoffman has said he would love to play with Pettersson. He is 30 and one good year would set him up nicely for a 3-4 year deal at a high $ amount when the cap raises. The signing values have dropped and as the days go by and less teams are available to sign with they will drop more. None of you know unless you have a direct line to Hoffman or his agent what he will or won't sign for, you are just guessing like me. If Ottawa won't take Loui for a first I am pretty sure other teams will. Again you really have no idea what the management will do at Ottawa or any other team, you are just guessing like everyone else. Loui isn't lazy he just doesn't produce points to justify his salary. He is one of our best defensive players 5 on 5 and penalty killing.

So good you had to say it 4 times.

Hoffman will not sign in Vancouver for the same reason as Barrie.

Barrie didn’t sign cause Hughes will take away from Barries PP1 time.

Hoffman plays the half wall on PP1, Pettersson spot. Pettersson won’t move and Hoffman is not effective anywhere else.

More that half his points come from the powerplay.

If he wants to cash in on a productive 1 year deal, he will not be choosing Vancouver.

      Quite simple.

You don’t seem to like criticism. What were you expecting with these trades? People think, just trade that guy, likes it’s as easy done as said. Do some research before you post silly trades, or people will let you know they’re silly, or worse.

Btw, Eriksson has declined faster than most because he takes too many shifts off, because he’s become lazy. He’s not one of the best defensive players because he takes too many shifts off because, we’ll, you get the idea.

As for Ottawa, they have their idiosyncrasies. They don’t want Eriksson corrupting their youth because he takes too many shifts off because...

If you don’t like people’s responses, don’t publish. If you publish, expect some people to give you their honest opinions. If you don’t like it, copy paste everyone with some silly explanations why you think you’re right and everyone else is wrong.

Such irony. Talk about not liking criticism, what a cry baby you are.
