Shipton...take a break. Rychel is probably the 10th rated Leaf guy that could be drafted. As you know, UFAs...Streits, Wideman, Garbet, Beglund, Smith are not eligible for the draft. Dustin Brown? Wouldn't the Vegans be smarter to draft me (if I was eligible )for 875,00 and then spend 5 million elsewhere.

With all the potential Goalies being available, I would think that Niemi to Las Vegas. Would be the least one to happen. I still think Vegas takes Marc Andre-Fleury maybe Howard if he continues to have a great year.

Isn't their a new Draft Addendum stating Vegas can target pending-UFAs and if successful, they fulfill said Teams' required contribution...?

Think you're right RedWing. They might take a NHL veteran as you suggest, but there will be lots good "secondary" goalies available. And a UFA in a year or two might be the answer also. Sounds like great fun to be GM for a new franchise.
