Description

First line may not work, but it could. Robertson playing with two playmakers could work very well. That third line could also work with Thornton setting up Nylander. Just a way to spread around the offense and get away from the top 6 - bottom 6 mentality. I think Korshkov could be a sleeper for us and deserves a shot. He's playing well in the K right now.

In theory I love the idea. The issue would be getting minutes to all of the core. Nylander isn’t going to see more than 15min and that 4th line is nice but only gets 5min.

I think the best idea is to load the top 6. Who knows. In a condensed season maybe this is a good way to keep players fresh and roll four line. You can always load up if you are down in a game.

I would keep Matthews and marner together but splitting up Nylander and Tavares is an intriguing idea. I could definitely see keefe experimenting with Nylander essentially running his own line.

I also kind of love the idea of a Thornton-Matthews-marner top line.
