Building off the idea of my last team, Bednar and Sakic move Comeau for another underperformer: Evander Kane. I know a lot of you are down on Kane, but I like him.

Compher for Kane....never.
That guy is a meathead, he cant stay healthy and always misses the net shooting high. Kane at his price tag and off ice stuff is the worst guy you could probably get

I could see MTL having a real interest in Beauchemin to beef up their top 4 for a playoff run, but it will probably be in draft picks not Scherbak

Yeah, I'm just not sure what would be coming back. Don't need Scherbak anymore with Kane and Greer. For 1+ seasons it would have to be slightly above your average TDL rental price.

IF by trading Beauchemin, his NMC becomes voided, then yes I could see a trade for him happening, albeit for way less than Scherbak and a 2nd rounder. Regardless it only happens if the NMC goes away, if not MTL is screwed by having to protect him in the draft which is the reason no one wants him in the first place.

Quite a few conditions have to be met for us to take Beauchemin off your hands.
