They don't need a cap dump. They just move players down. Also, Holl was one of the best Dmen with the most minutes last season.

Ya, even with Sandin and Liljegren, no reason to trade from a position that was weak last season. Trade Engvall if anyone.

Trading Holl in a Flat Cap season as a salary dump is gonna be hard. You see it on here everyday when Leafs fans post about trading Holl or Engvall or Kerfoot. Most teams are cap strapped and have players in there organization that are thought more highly of on cheaper contracts. No reason to just dump him for nothing. A 4th-5th round pick. A 21 man roster is fine.

i’m not saying he’s not going to play. i feel like if holl is moved he’ll spilt games w bogo. If we play the habs first i would prefer Bogo in there over sandin

I don't see the leafs burying a good defensive partner for Muzzin to play a guy who is almost completely a special teams player. You play him as a specialist and swap him in when you need to add a little extra grit. There are enough guys to send down and make it work.
