Ya, if Dubas doesn't make anymore moves I see this roster rolling out. IMO it won't be long before Lehtonen is paired with Muzzin and Dermott plays with Holl. And with all of the depth signings I can see Roberston not playing this year. Maybe the playoffs tho.

I would pump the brakes a little bit on lehtonen. Let’s see how well he can defend at the nhl level.

In this scenario he would be replacing Holl - a D who would be a 7/8 on most teams.

Totally, but everything I have seen so far he looks legit. I have streamed a few games of Jokerit this year and I love his game. Yes it will take some adjustment to the smaller ice but I am jacked with the prospect of the Leafs rolling out Rielly Brodie then Muzzin Lehtonen combo next year. He is going to be a huge help to the 2nd power play unit. He also does an awesome job at getting his shots to the net and a sick one-timer. Also, Lehtonen’s transition to the smaller NHL ice should not be too hard. In the KHL, six team’s played on a North American-size rink, with another 11 playing on Finnish-size rinks (in-between NA size and International size).

Lehtonen having played competitive hockey for a couple months before camp will an advantage that will more than make up for adjustments he will have to make for the slightly smaller ice surface.

I watched the first 5 games. Excellent passer but a passive defender.

That’s why you pair him with Muzzin. I can’t wait to see him in a Leafs uni

robertson should keep switching in for vesey during the season. How much games can he play without burning his ELC?

9 (including playoffs) but the number will be adjusted downwards in a shortened season.
