I don’t think that’s fair. The value here is reasonable for a win now team like Vegas. MAF would cost a 1st and a 2nd at least at the full 7M cap hit and Kane at 5.25M for three years is imo worth that price. I chose Vegas cuz i feel like it makes sense because they are in full win now mode and Kane could push them over the top

This deal saves Vegas $1.75M in cap space which they'll need to sign a backup and a centre because you're taking their 3C. Not to mention that Vegas said they wouldn't move a 1st to move Fleury, they're not gonna move 2 1st's and their top 2 prospects to do it and save very little cap room.

Not to mention, Kane ISN'T worth 2 top prospects and a 1st. Hawks fans need to stop living from 2015. It was almost 6 years ago.

Garbage offer.
