I think Toews or Graves will be the selection from COL, I can't see Seattle taking Compher or Donskoi over either of them

Won’t be Toews, but will be graves for sure, doesn’t matter really any of the 3 in graves donskoi or compher

Why not Toews? If EJ doesnt waive then they will need to protect EJ+Makar+Girard. Unless they protect 8/1 instead of 7/3/1 I think Toews getting selected is a real possibility unless they make a trade

Depends on his contract though I guess. If its a 1 year deal that makes him a UFA in 2021 then they would probably go for Graves

Bc Toews is leaps and bounds Better than graves, they are protecting him, even at the cost of buying out EJ.

They don’t trade 2 2nd for a guy to either let him hit ufa next offseason or picked up in the draft. There is a plan for him
