I wonder if 8 years is in the cards for Landy. At that price, I'm not sure Sakic would do it. If they went the full 8, I think the AAV would have to come in much closer to $7M. I could see 5, maybe 6 years at $8M but not 8.

And I think Makar asks for a bridge to pump up his value and wait for the cap to go up so he can break the bank on the next go-round, more in the $10-11M range.
