Description

Go for potential and provide hope to fans. Maybe we finally get lucky and land 1st overall... probably not but this is the hopeful outcome. Sign Bernier to play 30 games and pass the torch in the last year of Demko's ELC. Insert Boeser on the second line along with Bo and Sven and overload them with ice time because it is about development, not making the playoffs (which they won't do for 3 more years). Mantha has been slow to get to the big leagues and I think with a lot of ice time and a shot with the twins you can get a lot out of him. Deal fan fave Hansen for picks cause we need to stock the cupboard and he will never be worth more. Finally, decided to keep Virtanen on the 4th line...... I think he might only be a 30 pt bottom six banger now that Nux management has messed with his confidence. Maybe a guy that can move up and down line up.

As a Canucks fan, I say there's no way the canucks let Edler go for a B prospect and middle second rounder. Why get rid of Hansen for a couple of lottery tickets? He's got a great cap hit, he's not that old, and he's a heart and soul guy. Also, Nolan Patrick can't make 3 Million in his first season, he'd be on an entry level.
