That goal is at 0-0 at the end of the 1st period too. Not like a blow out goal.

But if Seguin stays hurt this year. And Pavelski is getting to the end. Radulov is 34. And Benn is a bad contract. If they start off bad, I could see them dumping some players and starting a re-build around Miro Heiskanen and John Klingberg.

And Gurainov was a surprise last year. No one expected him to score 20. He’s a defensive liability too. If he gets off to a slow start along with the rest of the team. Dallas could look to move him while his value is high. I’m just trying to find a RW for that 3rd line..lol. He would work too!! And like I said in the description, him and Kappy could fight it out for that 1st line Right-Side on Sid’s line.

Furthermore, Gurianov in particular is viewed by the coaching staff as a defensive liability, hence why he earned the lowest 5-on-5 time out of all Stars players. (Of course, whether this methodology is the right way to approach the game is a point of debate, but that’s another story.)

Still though, I’d be in for acquiring him!! I’d say move that 2nd round pick next year and a prospect besides Poulin/PO-Joseph/Legare/Maniscalco. And try to upgrade that 3rd line scoring. I would say the RW. Add in ZAR, or Tanev, or Riikola or Lafferty if need be.
