Everyone rates prospects differently and I’d wager you’re pretty liberal in your grading of prospects. Like would you say Dobson and Wilde are comparable as A prospects?

No because dobson has proven a lot more but wilde has a lot of potential.

I’d wager only a minority of individuals would rate Wilde as an A prospect. Most will keep ‘A’ for defensemen like Byram, Seider, Dobson, Broberg, etc. its not to say guys labeled as ‘B’ or ‘C’ don’t have potential because after all they’re still prospects but they’re not in the same realm of value.

Id have to say most people ive seen talk about wilde have him rated pretty high. Here on this site on others and in real life youre the first for sure whos had him as a C+. The lowest ive seen before was B+

I’ve never mentioned what grade I’d give him. I think you’re mixing me up with @buffbry (I personally would rate him as a ‘B’)

I’ve also never seen Wilde on a top 50 prospects list (eg Pronman, Wheeler) or someone on this site labeling him as a blue chip/A prospect.

My bad didnt look at the name. Dont know we could debate that but was answering you thinking it was @buffbry so answered differently considering he thinks wilde is a C+. Ive seen him rated as an A level prospect, maybe im overrating him could be, but hes clearly better than bolduc.

All I'll say is that wilde isn't a top 100 prospect so he's absolutely not an A prospect. He struggled big time after he as drafted and hasn't done anything to change that. In the same time bolduc has done nothing but improve every aspect of his game, you can rate whoever you want however you want, I'd take bolduc all day over him
