He and pasta are expected to miss at least the first month of the season and Palmieri brings goal scoring and the 2 way capability that marchand brought

Nah. They aren’t. Marchand expected back January 15th, Pastrnak early February. Given that the season probably won’t start until february 1st, they’ll be fine.

Marchand will be ready, Pastrnak will be out 2-4 weeks. Palmieri is RW, not LW so it doesn't " replace Marchand ".

As much as i like Palmieri the RW depth is kinda set and marchand (also a LW) should be right on track, pasta will miss a couple weeks ... I think its a fair price though, and i really do think hed be a good fit with 74 and 46.
