I thought Podkolzin wasn't coming till next season? Also I would have Hawryluk on the 3rd line LW spot, he's got good scoring upside.

He's coming once the KHL season ends which is like the last week of February

Hoglander should be the 3rd line LW. I'd also switch Hamonic and Myers

Is Hamonic actually going to sign for 1 mil? Definitely have to have Rafferty or Chatfield in the league otherwise ship them out.

It's a hypothetical contract but I can't see Hamonic making any more than 1 million. And with Ferland on LTIR, and Loui and Baertschi buried it opens up the cap.

I'm not sure if Hoglander makes the team or not, I do believe he will start in the AHL. As for Myers, I would put him with the best possible player to make him look as good as possible. Last season Myers was at his best with Hughes.

Podkolzin will be able to join the Canucks once his season is over, assuming the world championship doesn't happen. I also really like Hawryluk but didn't know where to put him. Can't justify putting him over Virtanen, and Macewen is a player Canucks coaching and management are very high on. Also, Sutter will probably get hurt eventually so Hawryluk can slot in there.

I would suspect he'll get paid more than that. Maybe something around 2 mil.
