Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

A cap-compliant 20 man roster. Players who would normally be healthy scratches must be put on Taxi Squad for cap reasons (Assuming they don't get claimed on waivers)

6 Man Taxi Squad: Tomas Nosek, Nick Holden, Oscar Dansk, Patrick Brown, Dylan Sikura, Jake Bischoff

Moves:
* Waive Holden and Nosek for purposes of assigning to Taxi Squad (drops cap hit to ~$79.5)
* Call Hague up to NHL Roster (Raises cap hit to ~$80.2)
* Sign Haula for $1,100,000 or less (Raises cap hit to ~$81.4)

If you have any players that have minor injuries, you can't call anyone up. That won't work if you want to win

Covid tests will be fine...cuz those players will be going on the LTIR....but if there are any minor injuries and the player can't be sent to the taxi squad, then it screws them.

I doubt you can get Haula on the roster this way but the taxi squad does solve the VGK cap problem. You’ll likely need to waive Holden right of the bat but it should work.
