Why does Dell get claimed? Would any other team want him as their top 2 goalies?

Doesn't need to be top 2. All it needs is a team who would prefer to have him as their 3rd goalie if they also have the cap space to keep him on the 23-player roster instead of the taxi squad.

Maybe idrk. If there was no chance they probably wouldn’t have signed hutch. Pickard and mac got picked last year didn’t they?

It was three years ago that Mac and Pickard got picked. Mac was a good pickup. Pickard...never understood that logic. He was back up with the Marlies and somehow some team though he was NHL capable. The number of games he played in the NHL in the past three seasons and GAA of over 4.00 shows it was a meaningless waiver claim
