Description

Virtanen should be on the third line. Look, the second line is a defensive line, with all round players like Horvat and Pearson. The third line has Roussel and Gaudette, both of whom aren't very defensive. Virtanen belongs on the third line. He will help Gaudette offensively and the line will be playing when defense isn't really needed. Vatanen is better than Hamonic, and he can pair with Edler to make a second line as solid as Edler-Stecher.

Argue all you want, Clutterbuck is the better player. He had a much better plus/minus. He had 1 less point than Beagle, even with half as many games. He did better in the playoffs, and a line of Motte-Clutterbuck-Sutter (eventually MacEwan), will actually be able to produce an offensive threat, and we may have some of the best offensive depth in the league.

Aren’t Roussel and Gaudette checkers? I sure would not classify them as goal scorers.

Not goal scorers exactly... but definitely not defensive. Gaudette does produce some offense, but he hasn't had quality wingers to fully utilize it

This team isn't likely to make the playoffs. It's possible but I have them pegged for 2nd last in the North Division.
