1. Owen Power (Anaheim Ducks) (Details: 1. Detroit - In a perfect world Detroit finally gets their number one pick. Already having the blossoming Mo Seider, they have the freedom to take the Rising star in Owen power).
2. Simon Edvinsson (Arizona Coyotes) (Details: 2. Los Angeles Kings- The Kings have all the offense they need at forward, this draft gives them the chance to take a premier defensemen, or trade down and grab multiple dmen in the first round).
3. Dylan Guenther (Seattle Kraken) (Details: 3. Anaheim Ducks-The ducks already have a good NHL ready d core, you add more offense to Zegras he's gonna lead them to the promise land sooner than later).
4. Brandt Clarke (Boston Bruins) (Details: 4. Seattle- The Kraken will most likely pick around 4-6 as Vegas did, I think if they end up in this spot they don't pass up the elite rightshot dman to build a team around).
5. Jesper Wallstedt (Buffalo Sabres) (Details: 5. Ottawa Senators-The sens I believe are as loaded as the kings, but they are the more all around team. With that being said they can afford to take aisk and draft a goalie at five even as a reach.).
6. Matthew Beniers (Calgary Flames) (Details: 6.San Jose Sharks- Beniers stock is going to continue to rise as the year goes on but the two way center will be one that gives the sharks the ability to add wingers to his side and give them a top six center).
7. Luke Hughes (Carolina Hurricanes) (Details: 7.New Jersey-Baby Brother Joins older, as the youngest Hughes fills up already loaded prospect pool defense wise.).
8. Kent Johnson (Chicago Blackhawks) (Details: 8. Chicago- Johnson becomes the third wolverine selected and they get their number two behind Kirby as Toews career winds down. Also could see them taking a dman or Raty with this pick).
9. Aatu Räty (Colorado Avalanche) (Details: 9. Minnesota Wild- The prince that was promised. They lose one finish center they gain a new one, and start to build a very good forward group going forward).
10. Daniil Chayka (Columbus Blue Jackets) (Details: 10. Florida Panthers- They get Aaron Ekblad some much needed help.).
11. Chaz Lucius (Dallas Stars) (Details: 11. Arizona Coyotes- The Coyotes need to find a true elite center. Lucius is that guy for them, they need guys to produce down the middle to give their wingers better scoring chances.).
12. William Eklund (Detroit Red Wings) (Details: 12. Nashville Predators- They have all the defense in the world. They have an elite goalie in Askarov. Give Tomasino help on the wing and they finally produce sone elite offense.).
13. Carson Lambos (Edmonton Oilers) (Details: 13. Buffalo Sabres- The Sabres fall into the weird spot of not need to much more help on the front end, and not having a goalie worthy of this pick. With the top end dmen gone they settle for the still solid Lambos.).
14. Mason McTavish (Florida Panthers) (Details: 14. New York Rangers- What more do they need at this point. This is team that has the shaping to be very elite very soon. With that being said center could use some help and they get a guy who could go super early or could fall based on how the chips lay).
15. Fabian Lysell (Los Angeles Kings) (Details: 15. Winnepeg- With the rumors of Laine leaving they look to sure up the wingers).
16. Zachary Bolduc (Minnesota Wild) (Details: 16 Montreal- Already loaded defensively, this team barely misses the playoffs and add a center because they can).

Agree and because it's simply not as good as last year or even a average year. Big fall off from the top 9 or 10 and not a elite talent in the top 10 but still some great franchise type of players
