Description

With Kapanen expected to miss the first game (or multiple games) due to his visa issues, I would imagine Poulin gets a real shot at his 9 game tryout. If he's not on the top line, I would guess he would be swapped with McCann for the trial period. Unfortunately, this shortened/condensed season might not provide many opportunities for the unproven guys. The division is too competitive to "try things out" for an extended period of time. They'll get their chances when injuries arise. Either way, this is my guess for opening night and maybe even the first few games.
