What's so special about Owen Power? His stats don't seem all that impressive for a potential first overall pick.

He's big and great defensively (He's 6'5). His stats might not seem great for a #1 pick, but this draft doesn't really have that top end talent that you see in players like Lafreniere and Hughes. Think this draft as more like 2014 when Ekblad went first. I see Power as having much more defensive upside than Ekblad, though.

Agree that this draft does not have an elite level talent like McDavid, Dahlin or Lafreniere (I don't view Hughes as elite, franchise yes but not elite). That said, Power has the most upside (highest ceiling) out of the defenders in the draft IMO.
